After 8 years with Super Series Baseball of America in California our organization
is now bringing you, our local supporters, (USTBA) United States Travel Baseball Association events for the 2008 season
at the same great beach baseball and California baseball venues we have been hosting our quality events at the
last 8 years! We are making the switch to provide our kids, coaches & supporters who participate with our
organization an even more positive tournament experience for the 2008 season and beyond.

The 2008 Summer National Championships for the West Coast will be held in San Diego, California and the 2008 Winter National Championships for the West Coast will in Palm Desert/Palm Springs, CA.
ANNOUNCING the Debut of our soon coming ULTIMATE DIVISION!!! This is the division where the elite teams will compete in not only in our local qualifiers but also in our "ELITE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS"!

- Unique Split Division Tournament Format
- Invitational and Super Invitational Qualifiers offer American (elite) and National (select) Division Play with a 3 Game Minimum Format
- Teams will compete in 2 Randon Game Play and placed in the American or National Division based on Record
- Teams in the American Division will compete for the "Elite" Championship against teams at their competitive level
- Teams in the National Division will compete for the "Select" Championship against teams at their competitive level
- Super Invitational Tounament Qualifier American Champions receive FREE Paid Berth to The State Championships
- State Championship Title Tournaments offer American (elite) and National (select) Divisional Play with a 4 Game Minimum Format
- Teams will compete in 2 Random Game Play and seeded in Bracket Play.Teams will compete in Double Elimination for the Championship Titles in both American and National Divisions
- MVP and All California Player Awards presented at the State Championships
- Invitational and Super Invitational Qualifiers offer American (elite) and National (select) Division Play with a 3 Game Minimum Format
- Unique State and National Ranking System
- Rankings Based On Tournament Overall Record - Not Just Place Of Finish
- Points awarded for over-all Tournament Record. Points awarded in both the American and National Divisions
- Bonus points awarded for Super Invitational Qualifiers & State Tournament Championship Teams
- Cross-over Ranking System. Teams can accumulate Points in both the American and National Divisions. Total accumulated Points place teams in State and National Placement Ranking

Getting Started with USTBA
California USTBA 2008 Season Team Registrations
All teams participating in USTBA tournament events must be registered for the current 2008 season. For

USTBA Offers a unique format that
caters to all travel teams. No team can initially classify
their status, this will be conducted throughout tournament
play. With the American and National Divisions our format
will separate the Elite from the Select in each tournament
played. We will crown a American Division
Champion and Runner up, a National Division Champion and
Runner Up each will be Awarded accordingly. TEAM and PLAYER
AWARDS.
(8 team minimum to do a
split bracket play).
All baseballs will be provided by
the director. We do ask to minimize this expense that each
coach has baseballs retrieved from the dugout players during
their games.
USTBA California also will award in each
tournament of play its USTBA Power Award to the player that
hits an Out-of-the-Park Homerun and will also award RBI Club to each player who bangs in 10 or more RBIs during tournament play. This player will then be
entered into the USTBA Homerun Club and recognized
Nationally throughout the entire season and the RBI Club player will be recognized state wide.
